STEP 1: Introduce Yourself

Register your entire family and schedule a time for a family interview. During the interview, you will meet your companion, who will guide you throughout the year and help you discern readiness for the sacraments.

STEP 2: Custom Pathway

Within a week of your interview, you will receive a personalized pathway to the sacraments tailored to your family's needs.

STEP 3: Family Sacrament Preparation

Your entire family will participate in sacrament preparation together. Your entire family will meet quarterly with your Family’s Companion This will help you discern readiness for sacraments

Middle School and High School Students
Sessions: Families will attend nine sessions together, focusing on sacrament preparation, family prayer, and creating a family mission. Additional Sessions: When not in family sessions, parents and students will participate in sessions that cover emotional regulation, stress management, self-awareness, establishing healthy boundaries, and contemplative prayer.

2. Attend Sunday Mass
3. Attend Classes - attendance must be at least 80%
4. Prepare additional documents
   • Copy of the offical Certificate of Baptism
   • Godparent Covenant Form (to be filled out by the (Godparent/Sponsor)
5. Attend Retreat
6. Turn in Saint Report
7. Complete Assigned Service Project
8. Complete pre-sacrament interview (parents and students required) 
9. Attend Rehersal
10. Receive Confirmation!

Saint Report
DUE NO LATER THAN April 24, 2024
 

Over the next few weeks, you will be researching and choosing a Saint to be your Confirmation Saint. On your Confirmation day, the Bishop will Confirm you in their name. Your Confirmation Saint will serve as a role model, guide, and intercessor for you. 

INSTRUCTIONS: Write a minimum 1-page, double-spaced essay using, FONT SIZE 12, about your Saint. Remember to put your name on it. You can either turn it in at any of our Confirmation Classes or you can email it to: [email protected]

Use reliable, Catholic resources (books or online). Please cite your sources, and no plagiarism
*If your essay is plagiarized, you will be required to meet with Anne in person outside of class time. Chat gpt or other AI writing tools are not a reliable source and should not be used!

 Things to consider to include in your essay:

 • A short biography of your saint including when and where they lived, their feast day, and what they are patron saints of. 

• Interesting facts about them. 

• Why you chose that particular Saint? 

• With what part of their life do you relate to? 

• How you hope to incorporate them into your life in the future. 

• Special devotions, traditions, or prayers associated with them.
