A social-emotional learning and classroom management program designed to teach children anger management, helpfulness, cooperation, assertiveness, impulse control, empathy, and problem-solving.
Frog Street Curriculum
This curriculum incorporates Conscious Discipline. It includes all TEKS and Early Childhood guidelines required by the State of Texas. It is filled with fun activities that teach valuable skills needed by 3-4-year-olds.
Play-based learning
All learning takes place within play centers, circle time, and class activities. Hands-on learning through play reinforces what is learned.
Learning our faith
We incorporate Catholic teachings into the classroom through singing praise songs, bible stories, life lessons, and prayer center. We learn the Our Father, Hail Mary, Angel of God, and the Meal Blessing prayers.
Chapel Visits happen each month along with visits to the Mary Gardens. We enjoy celebrating special Feast Days and all the Seasons of the Church Year.
Teachers with a combined 26 years of experience
From the teachers: “Our own children have gone through ECDC. We valued their experiences and want to share that with the children in our class. We love being with the children in our care and preparing them for Pre-K”.
"Education is not about knowing things or taking lessons but about being able to use three lingos: those of the head, the heart, and the hands... learning so that you can think about what you feel and do, can feel what you think and do, and can do what you feel and think. Unity within a person."
(Pope Francis)
