Every returning family is expected to contribute a minimum of 20 volunteer hours per school year (June to May). You can conveniently log your volunteer hours through the FACTS Family Portal, updating your hours after each activity. The school administration will monitor and record these service hours in FACTS. Active participation from families is highly encouraged to enrich the educational journey at St. Louis Catholic School.
All volunteers must adhere to the current Diocesan Ethics and Integrity in Ministry policies. Out of the 20 required hours, up to five (5) can be fulfilled by engaging in a St. Louis Parish Ministry. For families new to SLCS, the first school year requires a minimum of 15 volunteer hours as a transition.
Alternatively, families can opt for a financial donation of $30.00 per hour ($600 per family) in place of earning service hours. This option must be fulfilled by April 15 of the current school year. Single-parent families are advised to contact the school office for tailored options.
